Annual Appeal
As we strive to continue to meet the needs of the Senior Center, including more programs, and increased transportation - the Friends’ Board has a goal to raise $25,000! Can you help us to reach
our goal?
We ask you to please donate to our Annual Fund. We were so humbled last year to have the support of so many near and far, including many first-time donors. Even the smallest gifts can make enormous impact!
Looking for a Unique Gift Idea?
Honor a Newly Married Couple, Anniversary, Graduate or Remember a Loved One with a Commemorative Friendship Brickway Brick.
Since 2011, the Friendship Brickway at the Northborough Senior Center has become a site where town residents and friends commemorate significant occasions, pay tribute to special people, or honor the memory of loved ones. The season of events such as high school and college graduations, Mother's Day and Father's Day, wedding anniversaries and Memorial Day will soon be upon us, so please consider what special messages you’d like to post!
Order forms are printed in the Friendship Brickway pamphlet available at the Senior Center reception desk, or you can order using the form below. The cost is $100 per brick, and the Friends expect
installation of engraved bricks to take place this summer. As with all Friends’ programs, funds raised in the campaign for the Friendship Brickway will support the Northborough Council on Aging and
Senior Center activities.

Fill out the order form below and select payment method to order your 8" X 4" commemorative/tribute brick.
Jewelry Gift Cart
You can’t miss the Jewelry Gift Cart in the Senior Center lobby, just inside the main entrance. Check out the jewelry, handmade goods, and other items for sale there. Volunteers staffing the reception desk happily accept payment on behalf of the Friends. The cart is a gift from Adrienne Cost in memory of her husband James, who was active in the early planning for the Senior Center.
Friends Cash Calendar Lottery
The calendars give everyone 31 chances to win. Every time you win, your name goes back into the drawing for another chance to win! These calendars make great gifts and they’re only $10.00 a piece. What other gift gives a loved one a chance to win money each day for a month? Get one for everyone on your list! Will let you know when calendars go on sale at the front desk at the Senior Center. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Senior Center to support
Naming Opportunities
To honor a family member or to leave a legacy, a major gift can “name” a part of the Senior Center. For example, in the west corridor, the Leland Family Room recognizes a gift made to the Friends at the time of the grand opening. A plaque in the lobby acknowledges a significant contribution on that occasion from the Friends of the Northborough Senior Center. Another example is the lobby Gift Cart, as noted on this page.
