Murder Mystery Dinner - Was Great Fun!
It's prom time... Get out your poodle skirts, black tuxes and flaring peplums while you figure out whodunit and enjoy a delicious meal.
(50's prom theme dress optional, but not required to attend this fun event!)
This 1950’s sock hop is a doo wop disaster! When a death on the dance floor makes this fun night a party foul, it is up to you to figure out whodunit and get this dance back on track. Trade clues
with your guests, gather information about the crime, and reveal the punk that made this hop go to nowheresville. This night of laughter and dancing is now too heavy to razz anyone’s berries, so it’s
up to you to find the murderer!
All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Northborough Sr. Center.
EVENTS LOOK-BACK
The Friends kicked off a busy season at the Northborough Annual Applefest Street Fair. The Beer and Wine Tasting was really well attended and the Country Store Fair was a hit again this past fall! Participants enjoyed the first-ever Friends Northborough Garden Tour and Scavenger Hunt. In October, the Friends welcomed the Framingham Community Theater's Radio Actors for a trip down memory lane. Don't Touch That Dial! recreated the excitement of attending a live studio broadcast by combining live and recorded sound effects and music with actors reading from classic scripts.
Great time at Beer and Wine Tasting!
Friends of the Northborough Senior Center sponsored a Wine and Beer tasting at Whitney Place Assisted Living.
First Crush Winery of Cape Cod provided wine and Westborough's own Cold Harbor Brewing Company provided a variety of craft beers.
A great time was had by all! Thank you to those who attended.

In 2016, Northborough celebrated it's 250th Birthday! The Friends kicked off a busy season in September when we participated in the Northborough Annual Applefest Street Fair. The Fashion Show and High Tea was a huge success this past October. Attendees viewed fashions from Northborough's historic past right through the most current styles. The Country Store Fair was held on a perfect fall day - which brought many visitors. Baked goods, handcrafted items, jewelry and an expanded Gramma's attic were just some of the attractions at this well attended event!
Fashion Show and High Tea Returned on
In honor of Northborough's 250th Anniversary celebration we presented not only the latest and greatest fashions, but we highlighted clothing from 1766 through 2016!
