Town of Northborough buildings, including the Senior Center, are closed to the public.
Staff are available during normal hours of operation. We strongly encourage people to call us with questions and concerns.
The Senior Center vans continue to provide transportation, our in-house restaurant the Bistro@119 is offering curbside pick-up during lunch Monday- Thursday. The MOW program is managed by Bay Path Elder Services (508-573-7200) and is in operation with some modifications. Jocelyn Ehrhardt, the Outreach Worker, at the Northborough Senior Center is available to assist people with troubleshooting problems, resource identification and linkage, advocacy and more (508-393-5035 firstname.lastname@example.org ). She reports that the issues that she assisted people with this week, either over the phone or by email, were largely matters not related to COVID-19. She was able to help people with various applications, problem insurance matters, the acquisition of medical equipment and other day to day matters. We realize that over time other issues and concerns may rise to the surface; we intend to respond accordingly. That being said staffing and Senior Center access, as elsewhere, is in flux and subject to change. We will do our best to keep you informed of any changes.
The Friends of the Northborough Senior Center...are Friends indeed!
The Friends of the Northborough Senior Center Inc. promote and support the goals and needs of our town’s beautiful Senior Center, which opened its doors in March 2010 at 119 Bearfoot Road. We support the Northborough Council on Aging and the Senior Center staff by raising funds to help provide programs and social services for older residents of Northborough.
And how are our funds dispersed?
