In 2016, Northborough celebrated it's 250th Birthday! The Friends kicked off a busy season in September when we participated in the Northborough Annual Applefest Street Fair.  The Fashion Show and High Tea was a huge success this past October. Attendees viewed fashions from Northborough's historic past right through the most current styles. The Country Store Fair was held on a perfect fall day - which brought many visitors. Baked goods, handcrafted items, jewelry and an expanded Gramma's attic were just some of the attractions at this well attended event!

Friends of the Northborough Senior Center/Northborough Rotary 5 & 10K Trail/Road Race on local roads. More than 100 participants happily began and finished the event at the Senior Center. A great time was had by all!

We laced up our sneakers in the Spring of 2015 and co-sponsored a 5K/10K Road Race with the Northborough Rotary. Friends fundraising events in 2015 also included our first ever Wine Tasting Event in August. In September, the Friends participated in the Northborough Annual Applefest Street Fair.  This past October the Friends enjoyed “The God Box”, a one woman performance, and a celebration of mothers, daughters and the bonds of love, faith and family. Our Country Store Fair was a hit this past November with baked goods, handcrafted items for the holidays and treasures from Grandma's attic.

October 2015

This past October the Friends enjoyed “The God Box”, a one woman performance, a community and a celebration of mothers, daughters and the bonds of love, faith and family by Mary Lou Quinlan, a bestselling author and actress.
